5,397 MINUTES THIS WEEK!!! That’s an increase of 2,018 minutes from last week! Now THAT is awesome! Almost 90 hours of activity!
Now, I’m not as handy with the charts as Anna, but here’s the breakdown:
I had to update Anna’s chart because our minutes increased SUBSTANTIALLY this week! (I know my chart isn’t as pretty, I’m still learning)
Here are OUR minutes this week:
Last week, we asked you what you’re doing to earn your minutes. Some are going to the gym, some are doing yoga, we have exercise bikers, strength trainers. We’re counting our minutes just walking to and from places (which totally counts! Park farther away, take the steps instead of the elevator, etc…) There are ellipticallers (Hey! I just created a new word!), runners, and bowlers! And my FAVORITE, Dance Dance Revolution!
Keep in mind, ANYTHING counts! Some of you are remembering to count your minutes cleaning. Don’t forget shoveling snow, running after your kids… SEX! It ALL counts!
My goal for this week is to increase the difficulty of my workout. I have a feeling I’ll have less minutes for Week 3, but I’m going to make sure I’m REALLY sweating this week!
Here’s the question for Week 2:
What are you hoping to gain from this experience?
For me? I have always been competetive, so even though I can’t “win”, just having others out there to compete with is keeping me motivated to earn minutes every week! In addition, I’m hoping that I’ll get into a routine of working out, so if/when this ends, I’ll be so used to working out every week, that I’ll just keep going!
Keep it up, you’re all doing GREAT!
